Abdo John Hajj || Founding & Managing Partner
Abdo is a creative entrepreneur and private equity professional that has a long track record working closely with private equity funds, high net-worth individuals, and family offices throughout the U.S. , Canada, Latin America, and the Middle East. He founded Homage Arts during his time at the University of Southern California where he produced content for some of the world's largest record labels, production companies, artists, and brands.
In 2016, Homage Arts received a minority investment from Alcock & Company, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm and business development consultancy to make strategic investments in the entertainment, digital media, and technology sector. Abdo has consulted and sourced opportunities on behalf of leading global private equity firms, family offices, and high net-worth individuals including H.I.G. Capital, Fulham & Co., Atar Capital, Spell Capital Partners, Tresalia Capital, and many more.
Abdo serves on the Advisory Board of Incubara Capital, a Vancouver-based strategic capital partner that provides incubation and early-stage funding to disruptive technology companies. He continues to make direct investments in lower to middle market companies as a Director at Liberty Bay Capital.
When he’s not doing any of that, he’s in Los Angeles and spends his free time surfing and traveling.
Gary Thomas Alcock || Managing Partner
Gary Alcock is Founder and Managing Partner of Liberty Bay Capital, a San Francisco-based private investment firm that specializes in acquiring small to medium sized companies.
Previously, Gary served as a Managing Director at Revolution Capital Group. In his nearly seven years with the firm, Gary drove M&A execution, origination, and due-diligence across all acquisitions. Prior to Revolution Capital Group, Gary supported financial advisory services and M&A at Houlihan Lokey, an international investment bank.
With Revolution Capital Group, Gary acquired Dove Professional Apparel, Tampa Media Group, Maysteel Industries and Clearwater Gazette.
Gary has previously worked on over 18 successful transaction with an aggregate deal values of over $5 billion. Prior firms Gary has worked with through acquisition or advisory include Abraxis BioScience, Media General, Cerberus, CKx, Masco Corporation, Concord Music Group, Village Roadshow pictures and AECOM. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and kids.
